BlueTech Interactive has rebranded to Baltic Digital

Hello, reader!

After talks with my co-founder Ida-Viru, I have decided to rename BlueTech Interactive – a name that served us well for a long time – to Baltic Digital. I believe this is a change that’s important to reflect our ever-increasing focus on creating games that are heavily related to or based in the Baltic States.

Many of you probably haven’t ever heard of the Baltics as we are a small trio of countries in North-Eastern Europe – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Since our games like “Estonian War of Independence”, “Permit, Please!” and our upcoming “Estonian Railway Simulator” are based in Estonia, we decided that the brand name “BlueTech Interactive” felt too broad and unspecific. To hired developers, the name almost felt like a “catch-all.”

This change won’t effect our games, however you may notice slow changes of texts mentioning BlueTech Interactive changing over time as we work on both “Estonian Railway Simulator” and try to maintain our older games.

If you are in the old Discord Server, I suggest joining our newer one by scrolling to the bottom of the page and looking for “Baltic Digital Community Discord Server”. This change will be communicated in the old server as well.

As for the father of BlueTech Interactive (the grand-father of Baltic Digital) – “PlayKittens Inc.”, nothing will really change. The inactive games may eventually be pulled into the domain of Baltic Digital and I might eventually hand that studio over to my friend.
